200 Dogs in South Dakota Need Help
All the news pages say they were at an elderly woman's home who had taken in strays for over 30 years. It says she surrendered them because she was no longer able to keep them - it also says people often dropped dogs off near her because she would take them in. She tried to find homes for them. It's just like some people to take advantage of someone, then try to condem them because she was overwhelmed. The people who used her good will and brought her dogs should have been there helping her out. The stories also all say they were in overall good health. Socializing 200 dogs is too much for anyone old or young. I always get upset when I hear of someone like this and this type of situation.

Ironically, these dogs would more than likely end up in a dog kennel, and then put to death. I don't find that very humane at all. I think they would be better off back where they were.
