friends

could someone please tell me what a friend really is. i only have people call me when they need something (WHICH IS ALOT) they dont bother to ask how i am doing. will someone be my friend?

on a serious note, I think forums really bring out what good friends are and you end with friends all over the world. that means if you move somewhere entirely different you get to take your friends with you.

A friend is someone that you can count on when things go wrong.

If you were in trouble - who would you call? That's your friend.

I have a small group of very close friend, and a wider circle of aquaintences. I know that I can only really rely on a small number of people though.

Hey Tate, friend hmmm, I think a friend is someone you feel comfortable with. Someone you can talk to about anything, somone you can go to for things, somone you don't mind giving, time to.

thanks that makes a great deal of since. going to have to find all new friends around though.

I think you can have different friends for different things.

I have friends that I can confide in and get advice from, I am that friend to others.

I have friends who I would socialise with but not necessarily confide in.

I have friends who are selfish and put little into our friendship but take out lots - but those friends I am careful not to allow to depend on me too much. I am that friend to others.

I have a friend who has know me longer than anyone else, I hardly ever see her but it is like we have never been apart when we do see each other.

I know that I am not the perfect friend and I accept that in others.

All friendships evolve and some have a natural lifespan and some last forever.

Each is to be valued and accepted for what it is.
