Fair enough, here's a thread to run it down, slag me off for starting it or whatever you want to say negative about it.

All i ask is that the peaceful petition thread be left for members to add names & no comments, thanks :-6

It's possible that people feel intimidated by 'nailing their colours to the wall'

Are at work and haven't seen the thread yet

Are in bed and haven't seen the thread yet

Don't care to get involved because it's 'not their thing'We shouldn't assume that they are against living in 'peaceful co-existence' with fellow FG members.

Peacemakers 'just get on with it' .... if people think less of me for not putting my name on the thread, then I'm sorry.....for them.

I put my name to the peace option as I like "peace" as a general idea, mostly that is. I am also; however, posting in the "non peaceful" one here as its useful to have various other "non-peaceful when necessary" options in this crazy kinda world, know what I mean? I like to keep the mystery in life as well. :wah:

Oh, that one - I hadn't made the connection - been there and said hello.

All in favour of peace and people getting along - people should have, and show, respect for each other.

Debating issues is one thing, an essential part of a living community, but personal attacks and backstabbing has no place here and demeans those involved.

I'll go back to sleep now :-)

Oh for goodness sake! What did I miss now?

Cant we all just have some laughs? I work all the bloody time doing a bleeding traumatic job, and the last thing I want to do is log on to the forum seeing a bunch of juvenile in fighting!

I would turn on the telly if I wanted a soap opera all the time! They at least are interesting!

I've just read through it and can find nothing that warrents it being moved to the compost heap.

I've added my name to the list - the intent is good and should be encouraged.

Don't let the dirt get you down Raven - it doesn't represent the mainstream in the Garden and there's still more good than bad.

Hi guys, i slept on it & decided the best course of action is for me to have a break from here for a bit.

Im really sad that a positive thread of people wanting peace can be sent to a tar pit with only one negative post in it.

In the two years i have been here ive seen some threads with the most vile & disgusting hatred in them thrive & go on & on & on. The only conclusion i can come to is that on some level admin enjoy us fighting & that just breaks my heart & makes me need a break.

Just for the record, i think every forum needs bitches, morons, liars & every other catagory of people or it wouldent be like real life & i believe its one of the reasons forum garden is successful that we do have them.

Someone e-mail me if we happen to get a bit of goodwill towards fellow man around here at xmas will you? hugs, butter :-6

Many of us signed the positive thread, Buttercup and so I can't be alone in wondering why it should have been relegated to the tarpit.

I can understand why you feel you should take a break and whilst I respect your decision, I really wish you would stay around. If you can, please reconsider :-4
