Witch's Hat !!!

I had dinner with one of my closest girlfriends last night. From high school days and uni too. She's just back from Europe and her time in Sicily inspired her to cook a wonderful exotic feast. She popped over to Germany and spent Halloween/ Walpurgisnacht on the Brocken in the Harz Mountains. Brought me back a Chrissie pressie - a real, official witch's hat - it's made of grey felt and has a blue and white band!!! Haven't got my digi camera with me at the moment, but photos will be taken.

Grin... Go Guppy.. But, why am I then reminded of the Stepford Wives. They were all 'happy' but unreal.

Anyway, I am going out to a Chrissie lunch with my godmother. She is an English Lady in all senses of the word, and I love her dearly. I'm called after her... grin... I screwed up big time last lunch we had, she'd moved house and I got lost and was very late. Not good. This time, I'm leaving way early... so computer off NOW!!!

Grin. I can't believe I spent FOUR (4) hours yacking to Godmama!!! We did loads of catching up, over some great Thai food. YUMMMMMMO !!! So, consequently, I have done pretty much NO work today. Smile. Lucky that I can just Pouffffff away the contents of the intray from hell !!!

Anyway, it's supper time now... :sneaky: Not sure I can eat another thing for months, but I'm gonna try. Gotta keep up my magic strength...... :sneaky:

Did you ever see Fantasia as a kid? I loved Night on Bald Mountain.. now that's the Brocken. I think I recall something about witches dancing there in Goethe's 'Faust' too - ah, signs of a misspent youth.. I coulda been out suring the waves when I was reading up on all that stuff....
