SmarterChild

Post by koan »

This is my attempt to talk to a computer program called SmarterChild:

Diana says (1:34 AM):

Do you know any good jokes?

- SmarterChild - says (1:34 AM):

How many humans does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Diana says (1:34 AM):

I don't know

- SmarterChild - says (1:34 AM):

Sure you know.

Diana says (1:34 AM):

How many?

- SmarterChild - says (1:34 AM):

How many what?

Diana says (1:34 AM):

humans to screw in a lightbulb

- SmarterChild - says (1:34 AM):

Probably a lot. I can't be too sure.

Diana says (1:34 AM):

How do I get the answer to the joke?

- SmarterChild - says (1:34 AM):

Interesting. How you get the answer to the joke? I have no idea how you get the answer to the joke.

Diana says (1:35 AM):

How many humans does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

- SmarterChild - says (1:35 AM):

I'm not sure how many humans does it take to screw in a lightbulb.

Diana says (1:35 AM):

You tell me

- SmarterChild - says (1:35 AM):

I will not.

does anyone know the answer to this joke? :(

I hate that stupid AI!
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

Tried it. This is what i got.

Fibonacci05 [7:50 P.M.]: do you know any good jokes?

SmarterChild [7:50 P.M.]: How many humans does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Fibonacci05 [7:50 P.M.]: 2?

SmarterChild [7:50 P.M.]: One.

And I've also heard it's helpful to have a stepladder.

Diana says (2:21 AM):

casinoroyale

- SmarterChild - says (2:21 AM):

Why did you say that?

Diana says (2:21 AM):

someone told me to

- SmarterChild - says (2:21 AM):

Why is everybody like, "me me me" all the time?

AHA

won't work for me.

I tried AOL back when no one could actually get online with them. I've not reconsidered anything with those letters attached. Call me stubborn.

yep. add SmarterChild @ hotmail .com (without the spaces)

You can ask him anything and he'll give you instant answers. He's not too good at casual conversation but he runs a pretty good game of hangman
