I remember that one, Wendy. Grin. Funny about tongue twisters. My local aussie cafe was today giving out some ordinary English magazines and inside I found a page of German tongue twisters. Can't imagine why they were there. But it was kind of neat.

Bierbrauer Bauer braut braunes Bier

Beer brewer Bauer brews brown beer

Wenn meine Braut Blaukraut klaut, dann is sie eine Blaukrautklaubraut

If my bride steals red cabbage, then she's a red cabbage stealing bride.

Anyway, you get the idea!!!

Anything I've tried to write here got stopped by my disclaimer filter... sigh. Plucking a pheasant means blood sports which is non pc. And the other bit got tossed as some kind of class slur. And on the grounds that a bit of rough could be construed as sexual in nature, and therefore contentious or at very least insensitive to the rustic lifestyle. It's unpleasant to pluck a pheasant. etc

a Nutter butter cookie is a pair of wafer cookies with peanut flavor cream in the middle. Its shaped like a goober(whole peanut with shell). I like them. What I posted is their jingle. Sort of. I think it goes like this : How can I have another nutter butter sandwich cookie when I havent had a nutter butter sandwich cookie yet?

G'day Okie!! And one tries!! :sneaky:

One of many strange things about American cuisine is the fact that sandwiches are piled high with all kinds of stuff, but rarely buttered first. If the Good Lord had intended bread to be eaten, au naturel, so to speak, He wouldn't have given us butter in the first place!!!!!!

Here in Oz we do it right. We first get the butter out of the fridge - dig out any blowflies or mozzies that got in when we left it outside at the last barbie - and slather it all over the bread... then we contemplate the filling. Vegemite is pretty bloody perfect of course.

Think melted marshmallows. A bit goopy and sticky.

Does peanut butter count? I love crunchy peanut butter. I put it on pancakes. And even in peanut butter fudge.

I actually found a brand of real butter here (it comes from New Zealand) which contains nothing but butter (and maybe whipped air) and is spreadable right from the fridge. Always disliked margarine and advertised 'spreadable butters' contain some questionable additives :D

I may have seen some of that advertised on tv. I will look for it. I do love butter taste. But hate it is so hard to spread.

Abomination? That's the process of churning milk into butter, right?

Abominate for 20 minutes, then refrigerate.
