good morning all you forumgardners, hope you're all healthy and happy today. hang onto something or someone if you read this thread, you're about to go on the longest roller coaster ride of your life. the last time i hopped into the garden (four days ago) i was trying to become a supporting member (one years worth, hopefully). i'll try again today to accomplish that (a lot of you gave me good advice about how to, so should be doable). since my last visit here i had a stroke, or have bells-palsey same symtoms of a stroke; but, possibly curable (testing still underway to determine which), and have been in an emergency hospital ward, in and out of doctors offices, in and out of m.r.i. and cat-scan machines, an e.k.g., needled, poked, and prodded, for the past four days. i now have some paralysis of the face and slurrrr some of my verbal words, but looks like my mental process is as intact as it ever was (keeping in mind that during the 60's i lived a few blocks up the hill from the corner of haight and asbury, so probably millions of brain cells were lost, destroyed, or altered). anyway one of the nuerologist examining my current condition is dr. ho, and since i have a historical interest in the hoe indian nation of washington state, i included two of the three ho's, making this thread fitting for this time of the year. the doctor who explained the result of the cat-scan told me, "they found a small little kitten in there", so i told him they must have missed sometning because there's a lot of thought about a little cat (or the other word to describe cat) up there. but i digress, i now feel a little more urgency to become a supporting member here, so we can all help create a web site, to satisfy my passion (or obsession, can't quite figure out which it is) to fix the problems with the help find and prevent missing children programs being managed by governments, politicians, and government agencies (for more understanding about what i'm talking about read some of my other threads in the "crimes and justice" forums, under the heading of "missing children", "missing adults", "amber alerts", and "bereaved parents"). the thread titled oprah is long and a bit dis-jointed but will give you an idea about the charity and it's mission that i'm a volunteer with, the thread titled "located 2121" has a typo (it should be "located 2021" - it's a chapter from a book i have written, not yet published, it's a psy-fi, fiction, based on reality book intended to unite the general public to embarass the government to fix their national programs, to find and prevent missing children, so they function at the level of efficiency they were created and developed and annually funded and intended. unfortunately, governments have become the largest and most powerful out of control corporation in existence, even though most of them are suppose to be made up of elected politicians responsible to be public servants taking care of the will of the general public. again, read or reread some of the posts by teramiabullfrog (remember jeramiahbullfrog is a good friend of mine, joy to the world, joy to all the boys and girls...) in the crimes and justice forum to get a better understanding about what we're trying to accomplish here. over the last thirteen years we've had our "MAC SHACK" booth (mobile awareness center - about helping find and prevent missing persons) set-up at over 500 high attendance events {county fairs, regional festivals, nascar races, motor cycle runs, gun and knife shows, etc.} in eight western states. have any of you ever seen our MAC SHACK booth? there's always a big crowd of children around it waiting to play the children's "hi-striker" (in the shape of a colorful giraffe - Geraldine the child abduction prevention giraffe), when they ring the bell (and any age child is guaranteed to ring the bell) they get their choice of any donated prize on the "worlds largest prize table" (donated prizes range from children's books and games, sports equipment {baseball gloves, basketballs, etc.}, polished rocks, jewelry {including good costume jewelry donated from estates}, toys, stuffed toy animals, etc. etc. etc.). we also have the hundreds of flyers and binders of missing person flyers on display in the booth and lots of free literature about keeping kids safe from child abduction. many of our programs are totally unique of anything else, anywhere; however, many of our programs are modeled exactly after the national programs managed by the government (that's how we discovered the national programs are only functioning at about 3/5ths of their intended efficiency - our programs copy the federal programs instructions at 100 percent efficiency). the relatives of the missing are being lied to, by the government, about what they're doing to help find their missing loved ones. and, the relative of a missing person is considered the victim of a catastrophic disaster. and with over 100,000 reported missing persons (just in the united states) and each missing person having at least 40 relatives, that means the u.s. has over 4,000,000 (four million) catastrophic disaster victims living here. it's about time something was done to bring aid to these people, and fixing the national (now global) programs created and developed to help find missing persons, is the aid that is needed. our charity has written, e-mailed, and phoned elected politicians and government agencies, responsible for managing the programs, for the past six years and have received zero, none, responses back from any of them. recently we have enlisted the help of a northwest u.s. amateur radio club to communicate this information to other amateur radio clubs throughout the world (amateur radio clubs are the global civilian defense and are the first line of communication in all catastrophic disasters). i'm not very computer literate and plan on hiring a computer tutor so i can start displaying some of the photos of the children at our MAC SHACK booth, at county fairs. we definitely need the help of as many people as possible to accomplish our mission. helping establish a dynamic good web page regarding these issues is a start. as i've challenged before, go to your local post office, see if they have a display of missing person notices/flyers in the lobby, and contact me with the zip code and what you found or didn't find - we've checked over 2,000 post offices in the eight states we've attended fairs and festivals and only found five with a missing person display - according to the instructions of the national "CHILD ALERT PROGRAM" every federal building is required to maintain a display area featuring missing person notices, printed monthly by the national center for missing and exploited children (ncmec). last time i put out this request (challenge) only one response come back (thanks nomad). if i'm still walking the earth at the end of 2021 i'll be 77, hopefully at least the CHILD ALERT PROGRAM will be functioning at 100% efficiency, as it's intended. the AMBER ALERT would be greatly improved and much more efficient if the EMERGENCY FAX SYSTEM section of the CHILD ALERT PROGRAM is upgraded to the level of efficiency it's intended. these programs are just two examples of missing person programs not operating at the efficiency level they're intended. jennifer's law needs to be upgraded so it functions at it's original intended efficiency - john and jane does are still being buried in unmarked graves throughout the country without first cross referencing their dental and dna records to see if they are listed as a missing person. jennifers law was created and developed by one of the founding board members of the charity i'm involved with, a charity founded in 1998 by the families of several missing children. and how's all that for someone who just had a stroke or at least the same symptoms of a stroke?

No probs, glad to help... I need reminding myself many times. Particulary during a spinning class!
