One of the millions of reasons I love my husband

Post by BabyRider »

Oh my GOD, my husband is always full of surprises!!! He's a damn GENIUS!!! He has JUST NOW remembered that he bought a life insurance policy from GM when I started riding a motorcycle. M y mind is blown. Someone tell me what I'm supposed to do with this!! I can't quite wrap my brain around it.....

Bullet just remembered something he did while employed by General Motors. What does a person who finds out news like this DO with it???

He just remembered that he purchased accident insurance when I bought my bike. We are entitled to 1/4 of a million dollars for this disability I suffered. Wow....I was wondering how we were going to afford a trike for me to continue riding. My mind is BLOWN. I really don't know what to do with this news. 1/4 of a million dollars. I guess I can pay my hospital bills now. I seriously do not know what to do with this news. All I had to do was lose sight in one eye.

You will not use one dime of this money to pay doctor bills, that is the scum bags insurance companies job period..

1/4 of a million dollars is $250.000.00 maybe that will make it more real. That money is for you and Bullet not doctor bills..:-4

EXCELLENT point Carla!....not one dime to medical bills until trial is over, civil suit is filed and decided, and insurance pays! you don't owe those bills, he does. get the medicals off your mind Criss. you don't need the worry.

Seriously I hope it goes along way in making your life a lot better, along with Bullets
Arnold, haven't you ever played "what if" about winning a ridiculous amount of money? I can think of nothing better to do with this money than send LC off to England. I meant it when I said I'd go right over her head and go through Bothwell.

Carla, I love you dearly, and this money was just MADE to do something like this with it.

I can not think of a thing better to do with this money than to bring two of my best friends together. If anyone has a better Idea, I am all ears.

Step number one, of course, is to contact them. Step number two is to think long and hard about the best way to use this money! I agree that the SCUMBAG should be paying your medical bills.

Remember that you're young and what doesn't hurt you now will more than likely hurt like hell as you get older. DO NOT SETTLE FOR LESS THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY COLLECT FROM SCUMBAG'S INSURANCE! (By the way....is he a minor? Can you go after his parents?)

Great News for once BR, it's about time something went in your favor! :)

It may be wise not to let the world know of this monatary entitlement. Especially that dirt bad's lawyer, they don't need to know of it!!!

As other have said, go after that pond scum drunk, "& his parents", for every cent of your medical bills, & then sue for Millions for your pain, suffering, & perminent disibility!

It also would be prudent to consult a Tax expert, to find out the most benificial way for you to pay the least amount of income taxes on that great sum.

What a relief...it must be such a weight off your mind knowing that you won't have to worry about those bills now. Couldn't have wished for a better surprise for you for christmas mate!
And the same day I get your Christmas card with the wishes in it that there were. How incredibly cool!

He is a minor, and the insurance from the car will cover the bills. How does that work???? Irks me just a little, honestly.

How wonderful for you! What great news.

Just make sure you get good advice on how to invest some of the money for the future.

But also make sure you use some to treat yourself, you certainly deserve something good to happen at last.:-4
