Ok, has anyone tried Brownswager?

I have just tried it for the first time, and I have never tasted anything so utterly disgusting in my life.

I talked with my mother and she said she likes it with mayonnaise and onion, so I made a sandwich of just that,..and oh will I never try it again.

I can honestly say that I wouldn't feed the stuff to my dog.

After talking to her about it she then told about something she tried once that she didn't like, and it's name was Hagis(Spelling?). She said she tried it at a Scottish dance event that she went with my sister in laws mother(She does a Scottish dance thing). She then told me that she believed it was made of baby goat intestines or something...:yh_sick

So what are some foods any of you tried once, and will never eat again?

I've never eaten gross stuff deliberately. I read labels all the time.

When I was eating meat, I accidentally ate salami with beef hearts in it. I wanted to be ill when I found out.

The worst though, I think was chorizo. It's a type of Mexican sausage made with beef cheeks and lips and "fatty tissue." They put it in the beans at my favorite restaurant. I ate the stuff for years before I found out there was chorizo in it.

I also avoid cauliflower and most mushrooms because of their looks.

Sorry, I misspelled it...

It is in-fact Liverwurst, and it's also called Braunschweiger.

Deleted the link because I just noticed LC already posted it.

The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

:wah: I used to get that crap for lunch when I was a kid. I hated it. Id eat the rest of the stuff and throw the sandwich away. I dont know why but Id throw it under my neighbors tree right before I got home. One spring my dad and I were outside and he saw all the soggy sandwiches. He couldnt figure out why there were so many sandwiches under a tree. I remember feeling guilty but that was no way to treat a kid.

Why did you even buy it ?

Seafood sauce - my mum decided to play 'let's taste food with out eyes shut' with my step-daughters years ago and made me join in then put seafood sauce in my mouth knowing I hate it - I was nearly sick

Melon - tastes like cucumber and I hate that

Lamb - the smell of it roasting makes me urge

Sea maggots - prawns to most people :yh_sick

I actually make pizza out of left over spaghetti sauce with Mint flakes, oregano, and basil topped with sliced onions and parmesan cheese...I use other toppings, but if I don't at last have those to start I don't make it...

The only flesh I avoid is calimari, it seems pointless, tasteless and chewy. As does sweetbread, gonad, lung, feet, eye or brain but I'm rarely offered those.

Sago or tapioca I find impossible to put into my mouth, I was fed badly prepared versions too often at school.

Wow, I think you're actually the first person who has said they don't like caviar...

I'm speaking in a sense, that most people who know what Caviar is, and are willing to eat it, obviously is unfazed by the realization of what it is they are actually eating...

I'm assuming such was the case, and if I'm wrong, not only do I not blame you, but I would go as far to say, that even if the stuff was divinely good and favorable by all whom have eaten it, I still wouldn't touch it with a 10 feet pole.

I always raid the samples counter but got more than I bargained for. I was thinking "I love cheese...I love chocolate...what's not to like" Big mistake....A couple of weeks ago, the same store had samples of toffee cheese. Needless to say I gave it a wide berth :wah:
