What was the first consert you attended ?

I was running around today and up comes a song that took me back to the '70's

Saturday In The Park - Chicago

My 1st concert was Chicago, I was 16 yrs old, Nov. 1974, wow what a time...

My last concert was Paul - Sir Paul - 2003, it was the best ever - front row seats - he came right up to me & my husband - out of this world experience..

What was your 1st concert ? what was your last concert..??

I'm not sure I can remember... I have a dreadful suspicion it might have been Rod Stewart, if I disqualify the classical orchestras. The most recent was Show of Hands, Phil Beer and Steve Knightley playing with Miranda Sykes (who turned out to be a wonderful addition to the circuit) - but I'm getting obscure with those.

it was in 1981 or 82 at school after hours. They were "Flying South," a then not well known bluegrass band. It was my first taste of bluegrass and I've been in love with it ever since. I was 15 or 16 then.

Credence Clearwater Revival headlined, with Freddie King (B.B's brother) and Tony Joe White at the beginning. I still have the poster somewhere. It was Fall 1970 at the Oakland Coliseum. From there I went straight to Grand Funk Railroad and Black Oak Arkansas a few weeks later and it was a never ending procession of concert going for over a decade.

I think my last concert was Journey.... or Santana. I stopped in the early 80's.

Beatles, Shea Stadium, 1965.

Couldn't hear a thing, but I did notice they seemed to have a dramatic effect on the older(15-16) women in the audience.

The Osmonds, probably was about 10 or so...(talked about this on another thread)

Trying to remember the second and I think it might be Queen/Billy Squire in 1982, was my birthday, was 15 years old.

My very first concert was the Bee Gee's with a special appearance by Andy Gibb. I am not sure it counts though, as I was working in a booth to raise money for the Lion's Club so I didn't get to see the whole thing.

My second was either Pat Benetar or Rush. After those two - the Moody Blues.

The last concert I went to - Randy Travis, last summer.

My son's first concert - Don McLean. My son was 3 and I took my mom and my aunt for Mother's Day.

We saw Paul McCartney - @ 2004, that was the best concert I'd ever experienced.

We had front row seats - dancers up & down the aisle, very flamboyant - very cool. I could've strangled my husband for what he paid for that - it was my Birthday present. ( I wanted to ) I loved it - he never left the stage, so cool.

We saw Rick Springstein that same year, we love Rick, and he put on a great show - we didn't have front row seats on this one, I've allowed my husband to live.

What was your best concert? Absoulute the best ??

Mine was Paul - hands down.

My favorite concert was probably John Cougar Mellancamp, very entertaining...

the worst was the Cars, they stood still the whole time and I had like 4th row seats on my birthday, very dissapointed...

I saw Rick Springfield YEARS ago in the 80's....

Oh I saw Rick inthe '80's, I still enjoyed him.

I saw Barry Manilow @2 years ago - I still enjoy him.

They're all fun- a song can take you back, and enjoy every minute of it.

I was thinking about this after I posted, I actually think my favorite along with John Cougar...was Aerosmith/Ted Nugent in 1986...Awesome concert, and I was right in front of the stage, but it was first come first serve, we were crammed like sardines and people were all around...smelly and there was a funny stench that filled the air...still wondering what that was:sneaky:
