Is it my imagination or have some of the greens in the decor changed in a subtle kind of way,
possibly manipulated by Galbally to better reflect the shamrocks in the eyes of all the gorgeous wenches gadding about the ForumGarden corridors...
or by Spot to more closely approximate the nature of greenness as defined in the Encyclopedia Britannica.
or is it in anticipation of the brussel sprouts Tombstone will be chomping along with his Chrissie turkey.
or is it the hue Snoozie might be considering dying her alleged facial hair
Bryn - if you're Welsh like your name - it could relate to the greenness (sp) of your valley
hic
Lulu - Could it be the colour of the Field of Reeds, the Egyptian paradise
Theia, Bez, Betty, Pompom, Hammy - English greeeeeen grass - like we don't have in Australia. Hey, I'd settle for any grass, er lawn type. Oh heck.. I dunno..
Is it to match the colour of Secret Santa's fur dress, before Coca Cola updated him?
Pinky - maybe it's in honour of the Greeeen Man?
or is it to match the mistletoe I'm intending to pucker up under when I finsih thi';h3w bo9o2l of chapaneg hic..

O Sister in Pamelalunacy--I believe it's the green of the forests where our ancestresses practiced the sacred rites of SOLSTICE!
Have fun osculating under the mistletoe! Here, I'll hold your champers while you lock lips with the lads!

Wink wink, Pink !!! grin... YOu go, Girl !!!
As fer you, OtherPamelaluna, I reckon the three of us would do pretty well dancing in any green sylvan glade. With or without mistletoe.
I'm very careful with the Green Man. There are gentler manifestations of course, like Rob in the Green, Herne the hunter, others.. but deep down I reckon he's a force not to be messed with.
Hey there's a crimson lorikeet sititng just outside my window.. gorgeous bird. I think it's talking to me. Probably sent by the GM himself...

I just dropped in again to say goodnight, all this talk of the old ways is very interesting! I am too tired to think about it now though. So see you all later and everyone take care. Night!

There's a bronze statue in honour of Pan in the Botanical Gardens in Sydney. It's part of one of my normal walks and I always go and pay my respects. He is absolutely 100% post coital. His smile is unmistakeable. (I've noticed a lot of young women patting him for luck, and even laying flowers on his navel, or his now relaxed accountrements).
Will hafta rescan the pic... later

I did say 'alleged', Snoozie. And so far I've heard no actual evidence in support of the contention. In fact, Your Honour, my client was in her Santa Costume at the time, which should be taken as mitigation of the matter before the Bench at.. erk.. let's just go out and have a few Cosmos. OK?!!

Your description of the Pan statue reminds me of the Oscar Wilde image in Dublin (can't think of the name of that park now...sorry.) He's wearing purple, I believe, and an enormous smile!
He & Pan would look good, side by side!

Oh good old Oscar!, I used to sit beside him on the bench and have me lunch there, as I used to work in Merrion Square in Dublin 2 where that statute is, cool!
