I gave my dad a chair length massage mat.

My mom, I gave my love as always and she will have my thoughts all day.

My sister friend, a giftcard to Sephora and a subscription to Marie Claire.

My longest friend, a gift card to Target.

My good friend, a tabletop fountain featuring the Serenity Prayer.

My best friend, a watch, a pin, and a cute rhinestone accented kitten purse mirror.

I gave my husband a warm wool pullover.

My daughter got a fancy sweater to wear today, and a shopping spree tomorrow.

My son got some warm clothes too, and a game system.

My kitty and bunnies got lots of critter toys.

My mother got a chapbook of all my poems, which my daughter illustrated inside.

My husband will be getting his Christmas present next month. I will be paying the filing fees for our divorce.

Don't worry - I have decided that 2007 will be my BEST year ever! And I think that I will send DH and his girlfriend a big bouquet of flowers the day the divorce is final, thanking them for saving my life. (He never hit me - he is currently saving me from a life of BOREDOM!!!)

I think self pity and sympathy are highly underrated.
