No, but God did. An end to the day.

It is the Day of the Gifts of the Magi, so you give one gift on that day too.

I liked learning that tradition, not that I'm materialistic or anything...........:)

But since he doesn't go shopping, I will think of something nice for him that day.

I'm glad it's all over.

It was hard this year and nothing went as planned, even the few tiny plans that were made. It's not Cmas without my mom. But our tree stays up until a week or two in early January because we enjoy it and it's pretty. :)

all these talking about Christmas being over...just throws me...is THAT what Christmas means to you...Christmas is every day all day all year...it is not just a tree..presents and eating and such...what a shame that you all don't know the real reason for the day and love it just because of what it represents....i can't imagine someone buying into the just one day, eat, presents and that is the end...what do you have to look forward to?????looks to me like you are all about looking forward to "an" end but don't know what the end means either...tsk,tsk,tsk....

Actually, my Christmas is about 3 weeks long. It started when my daughter arrived and it won't end until she leaves. Every day is a gift.

That's really nice, Koan. You know what? You might should show your daughter what you wrote. That is a heartfelt sentiment and I bet she'd appreciate it. :-6

I was given a ticket to the Michael Bolton concert at the Royal Albert hall in April....it was a total shock. Had loads of other things too but I guess the highlight was spending the day with the family.

Technically "Christmas" is Jesus Christ's birthday, which is December 25th. And now it's December 26th, so technically it's over! "Pressies" (3 wise men's (gifts) offerings to Jesus) are only given on the December 25th! The kind feelings & spirit can last all year long, but only have to worry about "Pressies" for the 25th! :-2
