Isn't it so interesting

How your heart can be so touched with sadness and love at the same time? :-6

I cried for love lost...

and I cried because of the thought and the love my children never fail to show me.

I cried over no big family gatherings any more. But part of it was menopausal I think.:(

I'm sorry you're loss has made you so sad

I'm happy my message made you feel glad

Know that you're surrounded by love's old and new

Know that I'm wishing the brightest future for you. :-4

Remember the love your pupster gave you for many years - and be glad he was a part of your life.

Know that many FGers hold you close in their hearts.

See the bright future that awaits you with your new fiance.

Realise that the future holds more love for you from future pups who will adore you as much as you love them.

And know your pupster sent them to you with love from him!

We love you Buttercup! :-4 :yh_hugs

We've just sat down and had tea together, just the three of us.

Had a nice chat about Hamster and Roger and how my two enjoyed christmas. Then my son got his serious face on and piped up with 'Mum, that money your brother gave me, I give it to you because you've worked really hard this Christmas, you deserve it'.

My eyes were filling up, bless him!

That is until my daughter pipes up with a haughty, 'Well, you're not having mine Mum! I'm going to buy Princess earings cos you didn't get me any for Christmas' :wah:

:yh_hugs to you. That reminds me of the day I had to tell one of my close friends that I was pregnant, she'd been trying for two years and had just found out IVF was their only option. It was actually one of the hardest things I've had to do, I'll never forget us both sobbing our hearts out in the tea room.

I cried because my mother died this summer from cancer and this was our first christmas without her. It will be too long before I see her again. :-1

I think Christmas is a tough time in some ways for a lot of people. Christmas has been made into some kind of greeting card beautiful idea. Happy families will gather round the hearth, exchanging good cheer and everything will be beautiful and merry.

This image is thrust down our throats. The reality can be quite different and the spotlight on our often less than perfectly happy lives adds extra pain.

It's a Christian religious festival - and religious Christians are probably a small minority.

It's a family festival - and many of us don't have family, or have lost loved ones, or are separated from them

It's a commercial festival - and many of us are struggling to make ends meet

It's a time of peace, love and joy - and we live in a world of fear and anxiety, of hunger and exploitation, of too much to do, too many expectations, too many people pulling at us... we are tired and stressed

What amazes me at Christmas - I guess - is that given all the above, so many people still do manage somehow to find some joy and some hope at this time.

I've cried at Christmas. And danced too.
