subsriptions

not quite sure where to post it but seeing as im new i thought introductions would do!!

how do i remove the subscriptions to threads? i keep getting emails telling me about new posts and its really clogging up my inbox!! ive already been to my options and selected no subscriptions,

any advice??

When you chose no e-mail notification, did you remember to scroll to the bottom of the page & save changes?

now it seems that its only telling me about two posts ive made, my first ever one and another one...

I didn't do this (apparently). Is there any way to still change it?

yeah go into your profile and look on the left of your screen, then select one of the options bits (cant remember quite what its called) maybe look through them all!!!

in there you can select to be notified every hour every week not at all etc

my gmail is gonna get filled to the brim pretty soon!!

while i here, anyone know how i get a flag by my name?

Worst case scenario, go into your email and have it all blocked then your free of the emails.

fingers crossed it settles itself out, couldnt believe it when i looked at my emails this morning!!

Actually, I really like the e-mail system. I get a chnce to see what's going on, and specifically who's responding to me. Every so often, I just click on "unsubscribe to all threads" in the e-mail and delete threads that I'm not interested in anymore.

Here's a tip, if you just want to reply once in a thread, click on "no notification" at the bottom of the reply page.

i can see how the email system is a benefit but i just had so many emails in my inbox this morning and i dont really have time to go thru them all when im at work etc

Go into edit options, scroll down to the bottom of the page where it asks you what country you're from, select England then save changes.

Your flag will then appear x.
