I don't know how, but I guess you just PM Tombstone.

But.....why would you want to ? It's a bit dramatic and very FINAL. The people that are left behind deserve better IMO

And before anyone launches into me about mental conditions that lead to suicide, with the greatest of respect....yes, I know.

You're right, but because I'm a 'fence sitter' I didn't want to say so.......we may feel peeved, upset, ignored, insulted and slighted, but people leaving is a slap in the face to people like Chonsi, Cars, cher, Sunny, Carla, Val, floppy Theia etc etc...it's a really sad situation.

A bit earlier I posted something that I should have given more thought to ...

http://www.forumgarden.com/forums/showp ... ostcount=7

I did not put my self in the position that the folks that have left found themselves in....I did not appreciate their hurt and frustration and I was being selfish expecting folks to stay in an environment where they were unhappy and uncomfortable. So please accept my apologies...I hope you find somewhere that will make you happy, or return to FG when you feel able.

KarazePapa;504535 wrote: I am not leaving. Just a question put forth. I had thought about it at one time but why leave when I have met so many nice folks. Sometimes you folks are all I have. I can be in a room full of people and still be lonely, I can lay next to my new lady and still be lonely, but then I come in here and I am not so lonely. Does that make sense?

KP

It DOES make sense KP. I find my self in the 'lonely' situation more often than not even though I work 2 days a week with 100 people and I have family that I see almost daily. FG fills a void in my life.

True story, I was out bushwalking one winter (this was a few years ago because it was a very wet winter) and had just crossed a cow paddock that had left a huge amount of mud on my boots - and I do mean mud, not using euphemisms - so I stopped and started to attempt to clean off my boots. I was unstable standing on one leg so I leaned over and put my hand on the fence to steady myself.

Memo to all bushwallkers - when cleaning your boots in an unfamiliar cow paddock make sure that you don't choose an electric fence to steady yourself, especially when standing on sodden ground :wah:

You don't, you start the new account before deleting your old one - something to do with burning bridges.

I fell over. Fair dinkum, I fell flat on my back. My bushwalking partner thought it was bloody hilarious. There I was covered in mud - mud, just mud - and she's absolutely incapable of helping me up because she is doubled over with laughter! Absolutely no sympathy at all :wah:

i am sorry for laughing but this is shockingly hilarious......:wah: rofllmao......

Electric fences are great teachers. Things I learned firsthand:

green plants conduct electricity, even after being pulled out of the ground or broken off.

Leather gloves will insulate you from the shock, unless they get wet.

Even though you wear gloves when climbing over an electric fence, you still have to be careful of things like metal buttons.... and zippers.

Watermelon tastes much sweeter when surrounded by an electric fence ... and eaten in the moonlight. :pOther things I've noticed or heard:

Animals will not test an electric fence more than once or twice, so kids can have lots of fun stringing wire between trees & such.

Urine conducts electricity. [smilie=1,37,25]
