Well, I did that today, my credit was just as it should be, no surprises
...except for the oddest thing.Somehow, someway, one of the credit agencies had my date of birth listed incorrectly. Of all things that could possibly be incorrect, they had that incorrect. Dosen't give me a lot of faith in the system...
Anyways, I advise the Americans out there to go ahead and look into your free credit report so you can find and report inaccuracies like that.
Oh, and PS: There is only one OFFICIAL website to get your free credit report as mandated by law. Watch out for scam sites that have recently popped up that purport to be gateways to your credit report! These could easily be sites that are merely looking to steal your information.
