Who was it?
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

So, Pinky, CG, Lulu, Accountable, Tombstone, Koan, Flopstock, MrsK, Aussie Pam, Fibonachi, Diruretic, Hammy, OM, Arnold, Babyrider, Magenta, Rain, Far, Bill, Brwn, Spot, Betty, Cher&B, Jimbo, Suzy, Minks, Carla, Maire 5656, Beagle, Ted, Cobest, Saffron, Chocoholic, YZGI, Anastrophe, Rapunzel, Wendy, Buttercup, Imladris, and my all my other dear friends whose names escape me and those I have had the privilidge to get to know, tease, joke, and argue with. I also want to especially say thanks to LC and most of all Snooze (I miss you honey), its been quite a ride with you all, its been more than anything else, fun, thank you for everything you are all wonderful people, even if you don;t always realize it.

I'm thinking of CC as well right now, I wish I had had the chance to know her better. A toast to absent friends.

FG, what can I say, its all been about butter, sex, and everything in between, what a blast. :-6

G'day Fisher. I believe the western part of Canada is in the grip of an arctic freeze. And I am in the grip of an Aussie 'stinker' (and I mean the weather, I'm not maligning the postman/maleman:sneaky: )... Can we do a deal? A bit of yours for a bit of mine????

I would be willing to help you out but I can't. I am on the East coast and our weather has been quite mild. You will have to ask minks to help you out. She is the one in the deep freeze.

I don't know what the official temperature is here, MrsK.. 38 in the shade, I think.. but who's in the shade?!!! Gasp.

I had a feeling you were on the east coast, Fisher. I have friends in Pennsylvania and upstate New York. Not a single snow flake. Warmish. I've been there this time of the year, digging four feet of snow off the sidewalk, every morning!!!! WEIRD.

Think I might take a cold shower. But a sensitive, new age, eco-responsible one, of course. We're in a drought as well... and the bushfires are still raging in lots of areas...

pant pant pant

I do carry water to the bird dishes each morning. It's evaporated entirely by evening of course. The wild life must be desperate.

Half a million posts, Marie... but we got there. Been there, done that... gone ice skating.. grin.

Actually, I'm going to do something entirely really weird shortly. I'm still hoping to get off skiing as I'd planned before Jen did in her knee.. and I need to dig out my ski gear, dust it off, so to speak. That is going to be surreal......
