Uncle Kram!!!!! LOL..that was kinda naughty!!.........anyway--nothing really new here...I know I need to jump on this thing more..Kids are doing ok...We finally lost Dead Bob...He was beaten up by a racoon..

That cat had sooo many lives..other then that...No news is good news right? Have Chemo on Friday and then not again hopefully till Feb 22--BUT I will be done in APRIL! Can you believe that it has been a year already...and things are finally changing..I am so excited!I am really finally on the paved road to recovery!! YIPPPPIIIIEEE!:-4 Hugs!! Mom

I am glad to hear you're on the road to recovery, my Mum started chemo last Friday, so it's good to hear positive storys. I look forward to 'talking' to you :-6

Ohhh I am sorry about the diagnosis..Where is her cancer..and if I can be of any help--please just ask! I am a walking book of knowledge when it comes to UCK like that! Wishing her and YOU the best! MANY HUGS!! It may seem like a journey you don't want to know about--but if you stay positive for her--it helps..and just a word..Stay off the INTERNET and ask her doctors 1st hand--cuz the computer always says the WORST senerio..Love to you!

She had breast cancer 6 years ago and had been in remission for 4 years, she now has Hodgkins cancer in the neck, stomach and lungs, she had her first session on Friday but she is notdoing to great, she's passed out today a couple of times and has pains in her mouth. She heard on Friday that it hadn't spread to the bones so i was thankful for that. I have learnt to stay away from the internet as it scared me half to death a couple of weeks ago!

I am so very pleased for you that your doing well, it always make's you feel better when you hear the success storys.

Sounds fimilar..Mine was breast and was in remission also..I have NON Hodgkin's which is much easier to contain the Hodgkins..She has many spots that I have had--and its a blessing that the bones have not been infected..I did not have it in my neck either..Kidney and liver..small spots that were "splattered" but have been contained now..I still have 2 spots that are not changing but are not growing either..She will have a serious battle on her hands..How old is she if I may ask?..I will pray for her and so will my cancer "pray chain"...Cancer is the devil...we have learned this over and over..We just lost my nephew on Dec 16th...and life has not had the same light to us in a long while...He was young and had 2 small children..Infact his daughter just muttered the words "Da Da" -and he didn't even get to hear them..Its a disease that makes you feel so powerless...and if she has a strong will with in her- its sometimes harder..People who have always been so strong willed almost take a worse beating--becuz their sense of control is diminished..Be strong--Please if you want to talk EVER..I will listen--also if u want PM me and I can give you a ring..Hang in there..many Hugs!
