knocked off the forum

Not sure where to go with this problem.

Three times now I have been knocked off the forum by a window opening for an ad of some kind. It has only happened to me while on the forum. It is not a popup. The forum window closes then the ad window opens.

You guys know I'm not real computer savy so I don't know what is going on. Any ideas what is happening and why has it happened only while I'm on the forum.

When it happens I have to close the ad window and then reenter the forum address to get back in.

i use windows/IE & it doesent happen to me so it may well be something diffrent, sorry cant advise what best course of action is
