Do You Ever Log In And Leave Your PC on Forum Garden and....

Does anybody ever just log in and then leave, but leave your computer logged into FG for the day? Or even overnight? I often wonder that.

Yes, I am always forgetting to log off, though I am switching the computer off more nowadays, cause I am trying to stop leaving things on standby, its a bad habit.

i used to do it all the time untill my other half used my name and told the whole forum that jimbo loves to wear lady's underwear i didnt mind that too much as it was funny but what worried me was no one took a blind bit of notice every one just carried on posting like thats what they thought i did any way doh doh doh :-5 so now i log off every time

You can do the same any time with "Mark Forums Read", abbey.

From what I've seen, logins survive closing the browser or rebooting but not shifting to a different computer, so there's an account cookie involved in the process. I suspect it means I don't log off from one month to the next, I certainly never press the Log Out link.

I always turn off the computer when I go out or go to bed at night. But I never log out of the forum unless, like Betty, I'm using someone else's computer. Then I log out to be polite to my host.

I don't log out because I don't want to have to keep typing my password every time I come on to the garden.

since i have ie7 now i can open several tabs and i might have fg open but be on another website on another tab.....:-3 it makes it easy to bounce from one website to another quickly and see what is going on.....

I do i set my Firefox to remeber my Password so when i click on FG when i scroll down my favoeurites i'm always logged on i bet some people here think i'm a loser who sits on the PC all day :wah:
