it has been reported that Jessica Lunsford, the 9 year old murder victim in florida, was buried alive. this is horrific edgar allen poe stuff. that poor baby. i am so damn angry and heartsick for her i could kill that little piece of garbage couey with my bare hands. i think to myself about the millions murdered in the camps, little children. innocents dissected and tortured by mengele. and yet ONE stands out in my mind. perhaps it's because we can relate to one as opposed to millions, which seem nebulous somehow. a number. i know a lot of murderers. sometimes i want to kick them when they walk by me in court. i get used to them if you can believe that. but couey. i could harm him. i felt the same about Adam Walsh. never got over it. little baby beheaded. must be that being a woman cop has some drawbacks, too damn sensitive about babies hurt and killed. i want to go mop up the floor with john couey!! sorry, venting.

Don't think anybody minds you venting. You're a strong human being, your emotions are bound to flare up when pieces of scum like that are still walking the earth :-5

I'd say your just voicing what many of us are thinking. It drives me crazy knowing there are people out there like this. I'd be facing prison time myself if anything like that happened to my little one.

I think once we see the detail of how they suffered it hit's home real hard and tap's into a very deep vein in all of us!..........how the hell can anyone subject a child that sort of torture? it then beg's the question what else has this animal done before he buried her alive?.........it hurt's deeply when I hear of cases like this, I do not know the detail's of this case, only what you have said on here LC, by the way glad your back with us!..........I remember the case of the moor's murderer's in england, and they actually made a tape of themselve's torturing this little girl, it still haunt's me now!............these guy's were psycho's! well one of them ended up in a maximum security mental hospital, and has said nothing about the murder's, he has tried to help the police to track down where the bodie's may be buried, but I think he personally did this either to try and re-live his experience or just to get out of his solitary confinement! psychopath's do not suddenly become helpful unless it serve's there own end's somehow! his girlfriend ended up doing life and so she should do as well!...........doing that job you do LC would make me ill as well, but somebody's got to do it, you take care of your heart LC.

nice clean double- tap is too good for that dirtbag. ...i remember the moors case well, he was not trying to help find the body of the little boy, they were using a photo those two took on the moors to look for it, thinking they had posed at the site. trouble is it's hard to pin down because of the terrain. Canada had a similar case, where they recorded torture/murder. charles ng videotaped his murders. ~~lime-sterman, thankyou for your good wishes.

Who said anything about "nice and clean", LC? Certainly wasn't me. I figure a few days of torture, after being shot in both kneecaps, while he begs for his miserable worthless life, THEN dump him in a ditch.

I'm reminded of the movie "Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead." One character is taken out by shoving the barrel of a gun up his rear, then fired. Took a good 1/2 hour in exquisite agony before the F-er died. Wonder if that would work on Couey? I think we should test the theory....

An already horrible case gets even worse. Not to drift out of the thread subject but cases like this prove to me there is no God. If there is, and he permits this kind of savagery then I wouldn't want anything to do with him. The hate we feel toward the killer is natural. I feel it as well. But I wouldn't kill him. I'd want him to live a long long time. In a permanently dark basement, chained to a wall and fed scraps and watered like a dog. A constant recording of a girl screaming would play. Death for him would be a gift! I'd deny him that luxury.

hi Scrat...thankyou. i tell you i have my fantasies...in my uniform or with my ID and badge i could walk right into the jail where the dirtbag is being held. and off him. but he is not worth me going down for. i might have been sick recently. but i am strong as ever. if i were going to do that, i would have done it on the guy who murdered Deputy Todd Fatta. google for that story. :-1

Why??? Not that any answer they could give would ever be understood. This was in florida, right? At least they know how to use a death penalty. This animal is going down.

Its not that there isnt God David.. its that the devil walks among us also. Inhabiting the bodies ,minds and souls of those who have accepted him. Their mission on this earth is to destroy the minds of those who do believe in goodness. By causing the kind of pain we feel in the presence of an act like those commited on these innocent children. From the time my sons were born, until they were grown young men.. I lived in fear.. worried that some sick animal would get his hands on them. Now I have to worry about my grand children. I couldnt bring myself to read this post for two days,, too horrifying to even comprehend.

Lc... I applaud your mission. God assigns each of us to something. Some rise to the call, some do not. unfortunately. I tend to go into denial or into a deep depression.. when faced with acts of human cruelty of any kind. Keep up your invaluable work. I will work behind the lines using my tongue and words with people I meet, to try to make my contribution. Thank You for the consideration.
