Synchronicity and coincidences!

I believe in these things as well.

Yesterday when I was having a need of inspiration Novelty posted the Steve Jobs speech, just in time. :)

Or if you are thinking about someone you haven't seen in ages, years maybe and someone starts talking about them or they just show up. That can't be just a coincidence. Does this count?

The numbers 1,0 and 7 seem to keep cropping up in relation to my new ladyfriend. I first went out with her on 07.01.07. On that day, I was 17001 days old. She is 70 days younger than me, which is also 10 weeks of course. As we were in the same class at school, the year we met was '71

Maybe it's because my Dad was born at house No. 107

I believe in your belief also. There are no coincidences. But I think I experience it in a different way. It isnt with numbers, it is with meeting people. The meeting will set off a chain of events that leads you to a place that is already written. Yesterday I received a phone call from a friend who I havent heard from in a year. She is from a place that has had unpleasant memories for me. Her call and the conversation changed the way I felt about the place. Insignifigant topics lead me to remember goals I had 2 years ago.

All yesterday I knew with certainty that I am not through with that place, and that I am going to go back there. The chain was actually started by my sending her a Christmas card weeks ago. When I sat to write the card... I was 50 50 about sending it. Uncertain about whether or not I wanted to reestablish contact. The card started the chain of events.

It sounds really strange but i often feel things or dream about things, that then go on to happen, Jim calls me a witch (probably not for that reason), not sure if it's physic abilities or coincidence? I have seen physics that have said i have the gift but i still question everything, my mum is definitely physic, the gypsy in us!!

The website address is very long and not easy to remember (hence I use a simple forwarding URL) but she wrote the same words in the same order. She has never seen or been on my website! :-3

Now I'm nosey, can I ask what your website is? :)

One of the strangest ones was when Jim had found Chantelle. I booked his flight to go and see her then had to pick somewhere to stay, out of 160 choices i picked the place that he'd sent a e-mail to asking if they'd heard of Chantelle! It turned out the woman that passed Jims details on to Chantelles mum, was the lady I spoke to to book his room!!!! Spooky, thats just one of many.

I've just had coffee this morning with some other volunteers that I did a Homestart course with, I've literally just got off the phone from my mate that ran the course, they're are getting things sorted for me to be placed with a family soon. :)

Thats great, i had a friend that had someone go in under that scheme and it really helped lift her out of her depression. That's a really nice thing to do BB :-4

Now *that* is interesting!

On February 2nd of this year, I have an appointment with a psychic -- the first time I've ever done something like this. I made the appointment over a month ago . . .:-6

It's been touch and go, Homestart are having problems with funding right now, halfway through our course we were warned we may not even be placed due to lack of funding and there would be no option but to fold our 'branch'. Luckily some funding has come in and they're ok for the next twelve months.

Oh I definitely will!

Also . . . one day last week, I was thinking about a certain FG member that I hadn't 'talked' with in awhile. I sent her a PM telling her just how much I think of her . . . and she told me that she couldn't believe I had sent my PM when I did! She was feeling especially low, and my message really brightened up her day.

I just love when those things happen :-6

I have a 'voice' that always tells me when the phone is going to ring. It even gets to the point where it will tell me to put my sandwhich down and wipe my hands clean to be ready to pick up the phone, or I'll hear it and suddenly stop in the street and search through my bag for my mobile because within a matter of minutes it always rings and I dont have to frantically search for it or miss the call altogether. Its been with me my whole life, and some calls were the kind that if you did miss it, it would cause a lot of drama or compound problems for me or the caller, so I've learnt to pay attention to it! ;)

I also get de'ja vu constantly. I can be sitting in a cafe with friends or anywhere really and suddenly I will realise that I've had this conversation already!! I can literally sit there and tell you what you're about to say. Its so vivid and accurate that I have managed to change my reaction to something or someone and aviod the negative situation that I had previously visualised! S

Strange I know but it happens too often for me to ignore it, plus I kinda feel like Im actually living in tme movie Back to the Future!!!!!!!!!! :D

So, the lesson learnt here is don't write the reference until you get paid. :D

Well, I'll try my best, hopefully I'll get on with my family and make a new friend, just knowing I may help someone through some bad times is good enough though.:-6

I know what you mean.

My brother's wife Lori got me a gift certificate for Chanukah for the same psychic she went to months ago. She couldn't believe all the things the psychic said to her. :)

This woman claims to 'connect' with anyone in your life that you have lost. I plan on asking her about my mom. The appointment is for 30 minutes and they give you a tape of the whole experience.

I know I *want* to believe in it, so I'm going there with an open mind and a positive attitude. :-6
