Speaking of Opera, is it any good these days? What other browsers are available and do you have any comments or pointers on Firefox or any of these?

Out of a necessity, I downloadesd the Firefox browser a couple days ago. Boy is this thing fast! Pages spring right up! SO far it hasn't conflicted with my IE, which in the past has happened with Netscape and Opera.

Well I quite like IE7, (a definite improvement on IE6), do you prefer Firefox, must say I have heard only good things about it and I am very tempted, would you recommend it?

I love Firefox, use it much more than I do IE, although it's not compatible with my work/school websites, so I have to use the IE for those.

Wow Choc! Your rose avatar is beautiful!!
It's too soon I think for me to know if I'd recommend Firefox..and I just have the free version (no email client that I know of) but so far I am impressed with it. I am really amazed at how fast it brings things up! Especially eBay and unlike E7, it allows me to open multiple tabs or windows without crashing.

I tend to use Firefox as it is a bit faster than IE, though I use IE on occasion, of course as soon as I can get a mac I will be using safari!

I could smoke a whole cigarette waiting for IE to open a link.
I've been on Firefox for about 6 months now. Is there another way? I think not.
I'm saving a fortune on cigarettes.

Give it a go. It's free. You can get it from downloads.com
I installed it a couple of months ago, after reading glowing reports about it. Not as fast on my machine as I'd hoped, but I'd still give it "thumbs up".

I love Firefox. I have it on my own pc. It blocks pop-ups too. That is one of the reasons it's so great.

Firefox is the main one I use. I love the tabs across the top. I'll have several websites open at any time and go back and forth all day.
I know IE7 has that now, but I hate all the popup things that come up about allowing websites to do this and that. Too much of a pain. I hate change too so I'll stick with FF.

I probably posted that in an ambien trance-soryy
