What are you having for dinner?

Post by BabyRider »

Anyone who can have chicken on the grill in January is LUCKY. I'd love to do some grilling.

Me, I'm making seafood pasta for dinner to help celebrate my son beginning his 2nd semester of his senior year!

Something of a strange meal, this. I just served it. Mashed potatoes with garlic and fried onion, a grated cheese topping and a mug of coffee to help it down. More a big snack than a meal but it's all we're getting. I need to shop tomorrow.

Spot that actually sounds good!
No fish in my seafood pasta. Shrimp, lobster and scallops. Do you mean ANY fish or seafood in general?

Hell, if I could cook year-round, I would!

I think we are gonna have pizza since Dave forgot to grab the movie that needed returning today. So since he's gonna have to drive back to Dumas, he can pick up pizza on his way back home. :D

Hubby won't go near any fish, either -- he can't even stand the smell of it cooking

And since he is on the Jenny Craig diet, I don't have to cook for him for several weeks now :guitarist :p

I got some take out sushi for myself: tuna roll, salmon roll, shrimp roll and eel (cooked) roll with sesame seeds. Yummy! :D

One of my favorite dinners goes in the crockpot! Its chicken legs and thighs with no skins, diced tomatoes with mild chilies, a can of chick peas, a carrot sliced, some zuchinni cut in quarters and a half a cup of creamy peanut butter on low for about 7 hours or on high for 4- I know it sounds weird, but served over couscous, SO GOOD!

Delicious! :guitarist

df has peanut butter on his crumpets....this is sinful i feel, crumpets shouldnt be adorned with anything other than butter, im thinking of making a banner about this wrongdoing and waving it about at every opportunity

Still its like a real pizza. Do they just dump oil on it or is it from the gigantic pepperoni ?
