I don't know her too well as she's a newbie but she seems like a lovely person, and I just read this in her journal this morning, its an awful thing to have happen to anyone.

Re: Sometimes..

Today was bad. I found out yesterday that a good friend of mine had been in a work-related accident. He worked at Goodyear and while working, details are still not clear, he was literally sucked up into the machine. Two friggin hours later he was finally found and flown to the Med in Memphis. He passed away today from major trauma to his head and internal bleeding. But what angers me is why he wasn't found sooner. Where was his "superintendent"? I can't help but wonder if he had been found earlier would he have lived? I can't imagine the pain he felt while trapped inside this machine. It breaks my heart for his family. He was one of the most genuine people I've been blessed to know.

RIP Jason, we'll miss you dearly

I am very sorry this happened AF, thats dreadful news, I hope that his family and friends will be able to come to terms with this awful event, and if anyone is culpable for the accident, and his tragic death, then I hope they are held responsible. Best wishes. Gally. :yh_hugs

People who feel for others..... rare finds. The experience of suffering for someone else can be more painful than suffering for oneself. My heart goes out to you. Awful thing to happen. Sending warm thoughts, in your time of need.

If it helps at all, he would have probably gone into a state of shock, and then passed out really really quickly. He would not have known he was alone, and would not have felt lasting pain.

I have something I think might cheer you up. Its kind of funny (to me anyways). I am a member at another forum that is centered on infertility and medications and stuff. We have abbreviations for EVERYTHING. Well, everyone here keeps calling you AF for short. That stands for something else completely on my other board. It refers to "Aunt Flo" or your menstrual cycle to be more specific. Im sorry. But I had tpo giggle a little at that!! Ive seen a couple others here with similar usernames: BCP: birth control pills, and BD: Baby Dancing, which means "doing it".
