Who watches the superbowl for the commercials instead of the game?
Anyone else like me and only likes the superbowl for the commercials? Anyone who doesn't want to watch the actual game, but does want to see the ads I found out that Ifilm has instant uploads of all the ads, I think you just search "superbowl 2007" there (they have all the ads from prior years too). I wish I got paid to write those commercials, esp. since the average 30 second superbowl spot goes for 2.5 million... I actually might watch the game for both the ads and the halftime show too this year because I like the artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as Prince. I like football, I'm just not too excited about the teams this year.

I like watching the commercials, but I do actually watch the game, only game I watch all season. I could always care less who's playing, don't have a favorite team...my boys do of course...and neither of those teams are playing...so it doesn't care...
Superbowl is fun for the food and commercials, and just some fun family time...I could care less about Prince...how do you become formerly known...how stupid is that?? Sorry, I try not to be negative, but I used to LOVE him in the 80's when he was very popular, was gonna use the word Big, but the man is like 3ft tall. Sorry to all you Prince lovers, one of my best friends has to hear me say this too, and she LOVES him!! ---Back to the Superbowl....

That's ok, I'm a Prince fan and I'm totally not offended.
I don't know what he was doing there. I guess it did get him a lot of publicity though, if you think about it. Though I think he lost some of his true fans... but back to the superbowl...
or the ads anyway. I'm kind of confused, I went back to ifilm and they changed their superbowl setup, they have 2007 ads now, but... uh, how's that? I mean, aren't the superbowl ads aired for the first time during the superbowl? Or is there some kind of preview? Or is ifilm actually getting them early?

Being an uncivilised European barbarian, I would watch (if I could suffer the pain) for the cheerleaders.

The ads are part the whole package on superbowl sunday.
I miss the frogs,it one the most watched programs of the year.
If I don't like the half time show I will flip around alittle, some times other channels have some half time thing going on.

I am only mildly interested in the game..love the ads. I was watching alot of the old ads on YouTube last night. Saw that Christopher Reeve one from a few years back..the one where it showed him "walking", thanks to computer technology. And that Apple one..from the 80's. Lots of cool old ones.
I am not interested in the half time show this year....have no interest in Prince. I was working the year of the famous "wardrobe malfunction". But Rick was recording the game for me. So I got to see it.

I'm kind of conflicted about the Federline one. While I'm happy that he's ackowledged that he's kind of a deadbeat, I'm not thrilled that he's managing to stay in the public eye, thanks in part to IFILM. I kind of wish he'd just disappear altogether.

I do not drink beer..but my most favorite commercials are the Budwieser commercials with the horses..Clydesdales. I got to see a team of them perform live once. They are HUGE.

I think this year the Snickers one took it for me: http://www.ifilm.com/video/2819686/coll ... /superbowl Was it just me or was there a lot of homoerotic undertones this year: http://www.ifilm.com/video/2818616/coll ... /superbowl ?

By far the best Super Bowl commercial was the Dave & Oprah one. I know a lot of you missed it (it was only like 10 seconds long), and I'm sure it's on IFILM just like the others. Definitely see it.
