Do You Keep Accurate Financial Records?

For example: Do you know what you spend on food, entertainment, clothing, lattes, gasoline. Not just guesses, but pretty accurate information. Do you even feel it's important to know? Why? Why not?

I am terrible, I don't keep records of anything, not bank statements, receipts, bills, then i panic if i need them for reference. The only thing that i make sure is safe is the house insurance and passports
