Some of you may remember me saying i had to have a brace fitted, well its done, the actual fitment is not the metal train track kind & its mostly clear. Those that know me also know im a smoker, welllllllllllllll i'd had the brace on only a few days when i noticed the nicotine was turning what was an almost invisilble fitment slightly yellow - soooooooo ive stopped smoking !!! im in my second week, its not easy but i do have (NRT) nicotine replacement patches & they are helping. Today was the first day i could say i was really on a short fuse but that could be just being back home after a break & having to face work again, i dont know. Anyway thats my update & here's the actual brace so you can see they dont always have to look awful or ugly betty style, you can just make them out on the left last tooth, thats how good they are.

Oh, good for you, Butter! Can you see my braces, mine are white and you can't tell I have them. Oh, that was only my smilie................but I really have them. I hope they are off for this summer, and my daughter's wedding. Or at least a retainer.

Well done for giving up smoking, I did a few months ago due to pregnancy. My sister has one of those clear braces, steer clear of curries too as they'll stain!
