The lunatic is in my head

Post by BH672 »

Big Brother wants to read your mind! Tag line from the article:

"We see the danger that this might become compulsory one day, but we have to be aware that if we prohibit it, we are also denying people who aren't going to commit any crime the possibility of proving their innocence."

In other words, you would no longer be innocent until proven guilty, you would be guilty until the state cleared you. Would you be comfortable with this technology in the hands of our governments?

What do you think?

I think if you imagine all the possibilities then it becomes less intimidating.

What if we could demand a politician have a brain scan and the results made public regarding political issues? No more lies.

What if people could receive therapy and help before they get themselves into trouble?

I'm not assuming that a negative scan result means they go to jail for something they haven't done. It could be preventative and helpful.

The potential use in politics is a shining star in supporting the refinement of such a device.

We already have a fool-proof, and less intrusive, means of determining the intregrity of our politicians:

If their lips are moving, they're lying! ;)
