How many here have ex-husbands or wives? If so...do you still keep in touch for any reason (like kids or remained friends/etc/etc)?

I have one ex-husband and thankfully, have no contact with him. He was 34 when I married him at the age of 20. He already had 2 kids, and we had none together so there was no reason to keep in touch. He remarried less than 6 months later (4th wife) and I've been told, lives in a pop-up camper somewhere in the next county over.

He was CRAZY!
I probably posted that in an ambien trance-soryy

I knew it would be just a matter of time before we aired the ex's

I have an ex-husband whom I wish I didn't have to have contact with as he still seems to think his purpose in life is to control me and the kids. (communication is forced due to the children)

I have an ex-mother in law whom I am happy to report, I steer clear of at all costs

I have an ex brother and sis in law and well since they do not see the importance of their neices, I avoid them as well.

So there ya go. Ex-ceptional Ex-s from the Ex files

I'm very lucky that I haven't had contact with my ex in 22 years because we didn't have children together. His dad paid him to move to Florida under the condition he never came back to the area. :D

I have one great ex-husband and three questionable exes who would all like to see me this weekend. I keep in touch with a lot of exes but have a few that I had to boot on no uncertain terms. I wonder what would happen if I got them all in one room? They'd probably turn into mangy dogs and kill me. :D

My husband won't talk to his ex-wife. They have two children who live with us, so she has taken to ringing me and thinks I'm a good friend. As I wouldn't really go that far, its good that the kids feel comfortable and it keeps the peace :D

I'm lucky...my son's dad has finally married, (his first, and probably last, he got married at 38) and his wife is a super person. When I need to communicate with my son's dad, I usually go through his wife, who treats Josh like one of her own kids. I have no contact with any ex-boyfriends, as they are all morons. But Josh's dad and I get along great, now that we aren't together. And since he married such a great lady, everyone is happy and it makes for a very good atmosphere for Josh. I count myself very lucky.
