Help with member map

Post by K.Snyder »

I accidentally deleted(Well, I tried to make my entry more accurate as I had discovered that I could zoom in further) my location entry and for some reason I am unable to enter another one...

I enter the Longitude and Latitude, but it never shows up.

Anyone?

I'm sorry I can't help with that. I just accidentally inserted myself in Antarctica or somewhere and I can't figure out how to delete myself. :o

I would suspect that you have not deleted youself and that it won't allow a duplicate entry.

Can you do an entry search?

From the member map page :-

"If your marker doesn't show directly, just close your browser and restart it or clear your browser cache."

Go in and click on "your entry" and you should find it's still there.

Bottom left corner is a tick box, delete entry. Also an edit information tab.

In fact, quite the opposite.

I've managed to delete myself from the member map, however, when I click on "your entry" while having the location I chose it still doesn't show up.

I have no idea what your talking about "browser"...I will google about that and try and do that.

Oh...

I think I have found out what the problem was...

I thought that my entry was deleted upon me trying to delete it due in part to the red indicator being gone, when my entry hadn't been deleted as you have to check the delete box at the bottom of the "my entry" option. I had assumed it was deleted because it had disappeared from the map...

I have entered another one but it has of yet to show.
