When Adding People to your Buddy List....

When Adding People to your Buddy List....do they get a message asking if they will okay it? I ask this because I have like about 25 people on my buddy list, and there are only 3 of them in my "Friends" list. So did any of you get a message and then deny to be put on my buddy list? Just wondering.

I wondered how that worked too, C. I have people on my buddy list who should be in my friends list and they're not.

Also interestingly, I received two friend requests from people I KNOW do not want to be friends with me. Now what is up with that arrangement? :-2

Oh no!

A couple years ago when i first joined here, I tried putting a few people on my ignore list, but for some reason, the forum sent messages asking those people if I could place them on my buddy list, instead of the ignore list. So those people sent me pm's saying "stop asking me to be on your buddy list". It was weird.

so do you think all the people who I've asked to be on my buddy list actually got messages saying that I want them on my ignore list? And do you think maybe you got those messages error? :-2

I thought the buddy list was the friends list, some call it buddy, some call it friends :-2

Oh I have added two or three I think, I just assumed that they get an email to ask whether or not they accept being on the list like other sites do, otherwise I'd have asked first. I hate these BIG sites where people add you who you've never ever spoken to and don't know!

never really got round to that i spose, ive sent a few profile comments but thats it....runs off to adjust lists
