When was the last time you told someone you loved them?

Post by crazygal »

I feel it's so important to tell people you love them. Too many people don't feel comfortable with saying it or don't say it often enough.

The last person I told I loved was my son when my parents picked him up tonight. I tell him at least every morning and every night. He tells me too and sometimes first which is lovely. :)

My boys hear me tell them every day! Usually on their way out the door for school during the week and at night every night before we go to bed. I hear it back from the 12 and 10 year old, and a grumble from the almost 18 year old...but I know he loves his Momma!!:-4

My husband & I say I Love You everyday.

Before hanging the phone up I say it to my friends and family.

So it was today @ 5 different times to different people.

I Love You Guys

I tell my kids at least twice a day. My son is 19 and if he calls me to say he is going some where with his friends, etc., he will not hang up without telling me he loves me. :-4

I love you Jesse!!

I grew up in a family that NEVER exchanged "I love you's", so for me to tell my children is a challenge, of course up for it, cause they NEED to hear it!!:-4

It's just me and my Dad now. I never miss a chance to say it. You never know when your loved one will be ripped from your life and your world. I say it often and I say it loud and proud.

Every day.........every time I talk to a loved one on the phone and several times a day to BTS. Can you imagine how you would feel if you were a little miffed at a loved one and decided to withhold that one little tiny bit of affection and something terrible happened? I love you belongs in every part of the day no matter how you are feeling at the moment.

Well my family, jeez, I dunno, but not long ago, as I don't mind telling the truth when I feel the need to express myself, though I don't gush. But a woman, not for a long time now, and it will be a long time before I do so again as well I can tell ya that for nothing.

We say it all the time, when I was younger I remember feeling really award when my Mum said it to me, as it wasn't said that often. So when I had my kids I make sure I say it all the time to them, and my Mum and Step-father say it all the time to the kids. :-4

Pinks we love you too :-4 (Jenna said to say she loves you too, she tells all her friends that she has a friend thats a witch):-4

Aww Wendy, my dad had the same. Said he doesn't remember his parents saying they loved him but he was and still is totally the opposite as a dad. We tell each other sometimes, probably not enough. The last time I said it was to my son tonight when I said goodnight on the phone to him. He is staying with my parents until Tuesday evening, nice and peaceful but really missing him.

I tell my children most days, and they tell me most days.

As for anyone else, well I haven't 'said' it for a long time, but I have written it, does that count?

I note not many men have posted in this thread. I tell my Mom and my kids everytime I see them, usually when I'm leaving. It's become a kind of goodbye, but is still meant nevertheless. They mean everything to me so I might as well let them know.
