I would take a cue from a former supervisor and put up a "Pat on the Back Board" It was a bulletin board with paper had cut outs on it...if you wanted to give someone a pat on the back for doing something, you would write it on the hand and post it on the board.

I use to train people in a medical office, some would absorb the info and some just didn't get it. People need to be sure they're in the right position(career) first.
I'd take a medical office from seeing 46 people a day to 260 people a day, so in all stages I'd have individuals intitial stages, such as exam,xrays etc. there was no time or room for error.
Harmony was a necessity and I encouraged individuals with a bonus program $$.
