Mr. Livingstone and the environment.

I picked up a gem of an "apology" in the Sunday Telegraph (for those not native, Mr. Livingstone is a prime mover behind London's "environmental" "congestion charge", whereby people driving into london are charged for the privilege):



"The Sunday Telegraph" - Ken Livingstone correction

London's mayor Ken Livingstone has demanded a correction to my item last week alleging that the charging point for electric cars recently installed in the street where he lives was to provide power for his chauffeur-driven Toyota Prius. His car, he wishes me to make clear, does not need recharging. I naturally offer Mr Livingstone profound apologies for such a regrettable inaccuracy and for all the embarrassment and distress it has caused him.


I thought that was rather funny!
