Ever heard of the saying, 'if you can't say anything nice'?

As you know, I'm not his biggest fan but his dancing and his music is great and he has a BIG heart. :)

Wish I was coming to Thriller with you!

Sorry CrazyG, but if someone posts about MJ and folk dont like him they'll post how they feel regardless of the "No nasty comments plea"

IMO he's fair game.

Oh sorry, didn't realise you didn't read the first post. I just don't think it's nice to make a new member feel really sh*te when she comes back to the thread which I know she will.

Sorry sis, wish you never posted this. As I told ya, can be a lot more open on here than the other forum but others feelings don't really count obviously.

Hey Natalie, unfortunately MJ is such a controversial figure that you must of known people would have mixed feelings.

No-one wants to upset you or Crazygal, but everyone is entitled to their opinions.

As strongly as your sis may feel about liking MJ it is obvious that many others feel just as strongly the other way. I can't imagine she expects to express her liking of him and hear nothing negative in response. That is just unrealistic.

I guess the hazard of liking someone so controversial is having to defend them against criticism. Ask the supporters of George Bush Jr. what happens most of the time they bring that up. :)

You obviously didn't hear about the verdict then. Best to get your facts right really before you accuse anyone of something they haven't done.

While I totally agree that he shouldn't have had kids sleep in his bed, I 100% believe that he never touched them. (Oh and I did it for you so you don't look so dim. :) ) Oh and I didn't post the topic. :-2

I'm a fan.
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

I don't see what was stupid about my post, I followed the trial and it's fact, he was proven innocent. I can understand though why someone like you with what you have been through would be unbelieving. Anyone who touched my kids I want to castrate.

Also nowadays, unlike years ago there are special classes. Starting a sentence with AND and no capital letter, has nothing to do with dyslexia. :p

Oh apparently it helps to read things on a coloured background. Two women I was doing a course with had their worksheets in yellow or blue and it helped. You probably know that.

i followed the trial and was amazed he was found innocent ,if he was not a rich famous guy, would you still defend his innocence if he was accused of abusing little kids over and over ,and was paying them to keep quite , i think not , and as for my writing , thats the way i write end of ,and its what i write thats important not how i write it ,you have all ready upset a few people poking fun of the way they write , as some one else put it its not the way we treat people round here:D :D

Hey CG,

Just because everyone doesn't have the same views or opinions doesn't mean it's a bad place. I can understand that your upset for your sister, but although I feel upset that you've started with Jim and just because he has an opinion which you don't like, I haven't starting saying anything personal about you.

Try to chill a bit, Jade is probably bouncing around with all the adrenaline :)

Michael Jackson could soon convert to Islam, according to his brother Jermaine.

Michael Jackson is thought to be in Bahrain at the moment

The fallen pop star, who was acquitted of child abuse charges two years ago, has been reading Islamic books and developed an interest in the faith, his brother claims.

Jermaine, 52, became a Muslim in 1989 and said he thought it "most probable" that Michael, 48, would follow him.

"When I came back from Mecca I got him a lot of books and he asked me lots of things about my religion and I told him that it's peaceful and beautiful," he told The Muslim News, a monthly British Muslim newspaper.

"He read everything and he was proud of me that I found something that would give me inner strength and peace.

"I think it is most probable that Michael will convert to Islam."

He added: "He could do so much, just like I am trying to do. Michael and I and the word of God, we could do so much."

Michael has withdrawn from the public eye since a California jury cleared him of 10 counts of child abuse against 13-year-old Gavin Arvizo two years ago, after a lurid 16-week trial.

He is believed to be staying in Bahrain as a guest of the royal family.

Jermaine, who came second in this year's controversial series of Celebrity Big Brother, shared the vocals with his more famous brother when they were in The Jackson 5.

Wasn't Mohammed also castigated as a paedophile? He married a girl of a very young age...

What's the saying? "Birds of a feather, stick together?"...

Draw your own conclusions. Muslim faith says it's ok for child brides!

Yeah. And the tooth fairy is helping Dr Zeus to clean the feathers of mother goose whilst Santa Clause is helping Wee Willie Winkie to prepare a legal defence against running through the town in his nightgown, peeking through locks, etc. A peeping tom case...

M.J. Is a was been. He will never recover from this crap.... Get over it. Find a new hero. M.J. is gone.

P.S. I will never, ever be able to hear the song, "I'm forever blowing bubbles," Without seeing images in my mind that I do not wish to share...

Im not a groupie.. for anyone. If your asking am I a fan of his music? Ive always loved it. Especially Thriller. As far as his being a molestor goes... I dont know with certainty if he did it or not. I can only say that no child of mine ever got sent to spend the night with some stranger, Money or no money. He is definately bizzare, and most likely has huge problems. To me,

Elvis was a dysfunctional, sexually twisted, emmotionally tormented man. And yet, even when this was revealed... millions of fans didnt bat an eye.

He also was very charitable. And I loathed his music.

I liked MJ as a child, but now know how demented he is. His life is disgusting, and unfortunately he is allowed to go free, just like OJ. That says a lot about our society.

How can I care about his music when he hurts children?

Gee Kathy, are you a mind reader??

I was going to say almost the same exact thing....

Both MJ and OJ (weird that they both end in J...) got away with HORRIBLE crimes, and they are still walking around doin' their own thing, it sickens me:mad:

I am sorry that the OP of this thread didn't get the response she was hoping for, maybe better luck next time:)
