Manson: Will Chuckie get paroled?

It seems like it's about time for Charles Manson and a parole possibility to resurface pretty soon...considering how things go in America, does anyone think he will actually be free one day? And if so, how long till someone kills him? Any thoughts on this?

IMO, the man should've been dead YEARS ago...how old is he now?? 98???

I don't think that he should be let out, but it doesn't matter either way, supposedly he still has followers on the outside, not sure if thats true, I really don't care.

He is an evil man, end of story.

before and after he was inprisoned will never be forgotten. Just the mention of his name makes people think No dude! Your giving me goosebumps.

i dont think he will ever be parolled....but if he ever did get out..i dont think he would last long....

Manson should be @ 66 yrs old - give or take a year or two.

Yeah, I had heard that too, that he was put into isolation for his own protection,but then I also heard that he was aloud to preach in prison, he had founc god. I am not quite sure but I think that would be an oxy-moron wouldnt it?

Manson was sentenced to death - California abolished the death penalty

so Manson had life in prison - with life in prison comes the parole rights.

Manson was in general population in prison and someone set him on fire

Manson then was put on a safe isolated protected custody.

The only loop hole I see with this case is if California Parole Board has had such a change over that the new board (young) wouldn't be aware of the horrific cult killing Manson conducted in @ 1969, and allows him out for behaving.

Manson is in Folsom prison in California (last I heard). He was up in my neck of the woods a few years ago, and I'll tell you, he was a good little boy! Pelican Bay Prison (Crescent City California) is a max security prison and houses THE most hard core gang leaders and mafia men there are. Manson was small change compared to these ppl. There are many in my town who work at PB. They told me Manson minded his P's and Q's while there.

Manson will never be let out. No Parole for him. But did you know that Manson himself never actually did anything? It was his cult followers who committed the murders of Sharon Tate and the rest. I remember that, and the very name of Charles Manson was whispered between us kids. He was what we thought of when we thought of Monsters.

Patsy, If I remember right, Manson was imprisoned while the death penalty was abolished. It was after he was imprisoned in San Quentin that California reintroduced the death penalty. Can't remember the year, but I think it was soon after.

Sharon Tate's mother attended and spoke at every Parole hearing until her own death.

Sharon Tate was married to Polanski - the movie producer. Polanski lives somewhere in Europe - but should be in prison for raping a 13 year old girl.

Manson wasn't at Sharon Tates house at the time of that killing - but he did order the killing to his cult - but Manson was at the La Banca's house and killed that couple - Manson stabbed the man with a large turkey carving fork.

I am horrified to hear it said here that Manson comes up for parole, or a hearing. How could that be? There isnt a child from the 60s who doesnt feel ill when his name is mentioned. I dont care if he did it, ordered it, observed it, contemplated it, or imagined it. He is pure evil. To even consider letting him loose in society is not possible for me to imagine. If they ever let him out, I am definately leaving this country.

In 1982, he said he wouldn't know what to do if paroled. Five years later he said he would spark a revolution if released. In his previous appearances, Manson has said he wanted to live among snakes and spiders in the desert and be a "force of darkness" tormenting the world.

I think it is every two years or so, they go through the parole hearing. Manson will never be paroled, he is as nutty as a fruitcake, and too evil to be let loose in society.

Compassion toward all, irrespective of their perceived nature, is a hallmark test of religious response. I can't see how anyone can lay claim to communion with God if their approach to a part of creation lacks that empathic desire to perfect it.

Labelling any aspect of the world "pure evil" is a hindrance to that objective.

He doesn't seem to think he should be released.

At times says he isn't a murderer but clearly expresses that he doesn't fit into society. As the author of his book says "He's just a loser."

i can;t believe it...according to this article...manson plainly asked to stay in prison when he was paroled at thirty three...if the prison had listened the tate/labianca murders may have never happened.....

But then again, look what happened to Jeffery Dahmer when he DIDN'T get paroled. Can you say "Mop Handle Enema"?
