New Job
New Job
I'm almost afraid to post anything personal about myself here due to certain members from that other forum stalking and reading on other forums such as this one. and I don't mean RR. But I just had to write about my interview today.
I think I have a new job so will go in to Disney and give notice of 2 weeks today. the new job is close by and really good wages. I don't want to say the name of the company. It's a lab billing job where they opened up and created a new position for someone to take over part of what the office manager does. It's doing research on lab bills that have not been paid. Sort of reconciling. So the manager will be training me. And after the interview she sent me across the street for the drug screening.
IT's 40 hours a week so I will have to quit another job, Disney. And I won't feel bad about it.

Just make absolutly certain you have confirmation of the offer of the new job before quiting Disney. You do not want to be left high and dry. Though it seems you are well on your way.

Okay instead of starting another thread.........I'll just add to this one.
I got the okay to start my new job Monday. Boy these days they really put you through the ringer. I had to go take a drug screening and then wait for the background check too. I'll be getting paid twice as much as Disneyland pays me. And I'll have benefits and my boss seems really nice too.
So today it's bye bye Disneyland. I worked last night and today I feel so tired like a truck ran over me. It's so much walking and physical motion, I don't even want to go in and turn in my uniforms. I tried to get them to just let me work part time on weekends. But I was told that I need to be available full-time on holidays (this Monday) and starting in april full-time also. That would mean 5 days a week. No way. :-5

Thanks you guys! I'm loving my job now. And I even quit disneyland. :-4
Today and yesterday my mechanic tells me that I should have kept my job at Disneyland. But it's too late, I already quit. I needed my weekends off.
