Do you know any of these games? Remember when all you did was play outside? Well kids of today don't. Isn't that a shame? In a way, although technology had helped us in many ways, such as medicine, it's hurt us socially.

Yeah...despite it's political incorrectness, it's played widely in the West. One guy gets the football, then he runs around for as long as he can in the yard or park, until someone tackles him. Then everybody dogpiles on the guy and tries to strip the ball away. After the fumble, the first one to pick up the ball gets to run around again. simple rules, hilarious, tiring game!

I know, I know. I ask every kiddo on Monday to name two fun things they did over the weekend (to listen to their speech). The two things are always...
1. What level they got to on their game of choice
2. What "R" rated movie they snuck behind thier parent's backs to watch
there are a very rare few who actually do something on the weekend. Wow!!!!! You can really see the difference...academically....socially...in the kids that get out and do something productive...big difference!!!!

Do you think that parents don't really want to watch their kids...playing outside (you have to today, it seems like)...so they would rather them just play inside anyway? I sometimes wonder if that is part of it too. When I was a kid...I would run the streets for a 4 block radius...anything not past "school road" was okay. Kids can't really do this these days. It is too dangerous...and parents don't want to spend the time chasing their kids around while they play outside.
