They say you can tell a person by the music they listen to. So what's on your player? Does it say anything bout you as a person?
I have a whole range of music on mine. Everything from Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by Bette Midler to Akron's Smack That. And lot's of alternitive, country, Southern rock, and heavy metal in between. Wonder if it means I'm a well rounded person.
"Girls are crazy! I'm not ever getting married, I can make my own sandwiches!"
Oh boy. I have bluegrass (newer stuff as well as Stanley and Monroe), Gillian Welch, Indigenous (the band, not the people) mountain music, bluegrass gospel, folk music, Stevie RayStevie Wonder, Melanie, Leo Sayer, Elvis, Alison Krauss, the Cox Family, Jeff Buckley, Janis Joplin,, Eurythmics, Pat Benatar, John Anderson, Aaron Tippin and Wade Hayes, Brenda Lee, Bill Doggett, Carly Simon, Ricky Van Shelton, Chet Baker, Hole, rockabilly and some jazz. It's easier to say what I don't keep on there: house/trance/club or rap/hiphop. All else is fair game.
I don't own an iPod. I have five generic ones and I call them "fauxPods." :wah: One is a cube that's slightly larger than a quarter, I'm a sucker for gadgets.
I've got my entire music collection on my mp3 player, plus three series of Father Ted and two series of Phoenix Nights! It's a Creative Zen Vision M. 30gigabytes, I don't like ipods, I think they're a bit weak and girly! My son has broken two ipods, in the time I've had my Zen, cos it's built like a T34 Tank! I packed all my CDs away, because I have a 5:1 surround sound system, which plays through my computer, so I plug the Zen into a usb port, which charges it up, while I can play tracks through my head bangin' speakers! What does it say about me? Well now when I read it back, it screams GEEK! GEEK! GEEK!..........Help me someone!!!;)
