Fish n Chips
Well I was only about 10 at the time.
Proper chips, none of this thin chip (fries) bollocks.
A mixture of floppy and crispy chips.
And a nice bit of cod..this was when we could still eat it in a nice crispy batter.
With loads of vinegar and a little bit of salt.
And you have to ask for scraps.
*feels arteries hardening*

Here in New Zealand it seems like there are Fish & Chip Shoppes on about every street corner. My favorite is Blue Cod or Grouper, cooked in vegetable oil, with a crumbed, crispy covering and slight aroma of celery.
Of course, with me being a Yank, I prefer tomato ketchup to tomato sauce to slather on both the fish and the chips.
