Some of you know I'm worried about the prowler that's been in my neighborhood. It's getting worse. I stay up all night and crash all day. I feel like I can be seen at my computer through the blinds at night. Or in my kitchen or whatever. Last night I was out with friends and they showed me these First Alert intruder alarms they have so I came home and ordered two sets of them. I sleep with my pepper spray and cell phone. This is ridiculous. I don't dare go outside at night. The only thing I feel good about is that I have 12 loud barking sensitive dogs. My sentinels. I found out about the prowler three weeks ago but it just started bothering me about a week and a half ago when one night out of nowhere, I felt...watched. Someone suggested my mom was visiting but I really think her energy would have been loving and warm and not scary like what I felt.

My Sea Monkeys are growing fast! I got some sea monkey supplies in the mail today, some extra food and medicine in case they get sick. I'm taking this very seriously. I bought red food so they'll show up better. They're about as long as an eyelash now.

I had to call my bank today and get stuff straightened out. You can't get a human being, it's all about pushing buttons and entering codes, Geared for frustration. This is why people snap and kill each other, I'm sure of it.

Buy a gun and occasionally go outside and let it loose. I'm quite sure anyone prowling a neighborhood whom hears an occasional outburst of a 12 gauge shotgun would be deterred from breaking into your house.

try not too worry those dogs would hear any one a mile off , there is no way any one would even go near a house with dogs take my word for it :-6 :-6

Yeah, he's right...

Just the sheer noise alone is enough to deter anyone from breaking into the house

a) Any change in the dogs demeanor will definitely induce a heightened level of awareness in which always increases the chances of the cops being called

b) People usually don't like getting mauled when breaking into a house, especially with, what is it, 12 dogs?

Gee Nomad. I thought we were friends. :-2 And why are you handing me your liver? Really, I've nothing to steal if that's what they're looking for.

We have guns here but I am too hotheaded to be near one. I'd probably shoot the wrong person.

That's what I've been hoping, that the dogs would intimidate them into picking an easier house. Although they have repeatedly broken into my neighbors' house and they have three Rotts- only one barks.

I'll probably be in chat or somewhere here if I get too scared. I don't like that alone feeling. Please keep me company!

Hey! I'm back to normal now! It's been a week I guess and that hairy feeling on my neck is gone and I don't feel like anyone is around now. Still...I trust my instincts and there must have been something or I wouldn't have felt like that. I even fell asleep on the couch with my headphones on the other night.
