Yes, a great day for me, (oh the glory) and also a great day for FG and everyone here, you are so lucky that I am here, who else could have written these posts on such noble topics as how to wrap burritos, how to translate kung fu films, and how to write poems dedicated to vegetables, me, thats who. Yes, its an incredible achievement on my part, which was only made possible by true determination, endless hours of slogging on inane topics with broken fingers on a dying computer. Well, its been real. I thank you, feel free to tell me how I have changed your lives in various ways through these words I have written, do not be shy, I am modest (my finest quality), and I need constant attention and praise. ;)

Did you know you're now in the 'top posters' thingy on the homepage?

Keep going, you need to inform us and make us think about more randomly bizarre stuff!:D

Yeah, I am not really one of the top ones, but I think a lot of more constant posters than me have left, so I have moved up the rankings, you are a major poster pinks, I think sometimes you keep FG going by yourself, its impressive.

Hey Gman,

have you thought about how much time you spent at the computer racking up 6,000 posts? Just think, with that time you could have invented the flying car or a Star Trek transporter or a beer that's less filling AND tastes great!!! No criticism, just sayin' . . . . .

Thank you tater tazz, I also enjoy reading my posts as they are always brilliant and somewhat mysterious. Its hard to really talk about how brilliant I am, because I get choked up with emotion thinking about wonderful me. :wah:

I also have a question. This tater tazz moniker, you are a potato farmer, or in some way linked to the potato industry are you?, I find this very interesting, as I am Irish and we have a certain love for all things potato, or at least we used to till this insufferable economic boom, now its pasta this, cous cous that, and basmati rice the other. God damn it. :-1

An interesting and valid question. I have indeed spent a inordinate amount of time personally handcrafting each post, which goes through about 3 drafts and an exhaustive editing process. Of course I could spend this time developing new products and services to help humanity, but then, I don't really care what happens to humanity so they can all feick off.

Since you have mentioned it though, I have thought upon the transporter thing, but its not possible, too much Heisenberg uncertainty, the hover car has already been invented but it only does about 4 feet to the gallon, (serious check it out, its in America, its cool), and the beer thing, well yes thats the impossible dream, and as a chemist I should get cracking on it, that and the baldness cure for men, the instant diet pill that makes you shed about 30 percent of your body mass in an hour, and the "attract the opposite sex" sauce, guarenteed to get you copulated within 45 minute of application to your chips. I shall update you on my progress.

No, yes, you are right, rambling on and on, and on and on and on, I mean thats not my style at all, I wouldn't just keep going on and on about stuff that is just coming off the top of my head, like do dogs really prefer their food to be in chunks or not?? I mean who thinks about such things, its not like they need to think about them, but then someone must do, because they keep inventing new types and that doesn't happen by accident, or maybe it does?.

As for your questions, well I am not sure why they don't call it Island, but I would say thats because its not the only island and it gets confusing, unless you then number them, and also its called Eireann in Irish so it probably comes from that. (England is called "Sasnaigh", Scotland is called "Alba" and I can't remember what Wales in called in Gaelic though of course its Cymru (sic) in Welsh, which is nothing like Irish though they are both Celtic languages). I am not sure about the 4 leak clovers, thats always puzzled me, but I guess I can just concentrate on the Shamrocks seeing as its coming up to "Saint you know who's" day on Saturday. Also, yes the rabbits, yes indeed a tragic issue and one that is not being dealt with by our lazy, rabbit-phobic politicians, sir you have your cause, you must fight for what you believe in! :wah:

Hello sir, your interest in all matters Irish never fail to amaze me, as well as your grasp of what are the real issues. In terms of the rainbow "gold" its actually kept in a safe owned by Allied Irish Banks PLC, its address is "The Main Vault" 43 Merrion Plaza, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, Republic of Ireland. At last count it was worth about €83 Billion, so thats a tidy sum. You can find leprechauns in many places, though usually more so in other countries than in Ireland, the best place you will be sure to find them is under a large megalith, immediately after taking about 300 magic mushrooms, or 4 bottles of good Irish whiskey, they will be very charming, and of course they will rob you. :wah:
