OMG just watching ' This Morning' on ITV and they are discussing children not being able to make Mothers Day cards at school because it isn't fair for those that don't have mums. How feckling rediculous! Can't they just make one for their nan instead?

Not a clue. So many things that can't be done in schools now. It really pees me off.

They just said about a little boy who couldn't zip up his trousers, asked for help but nobody would give it to him, he was only 5. He got really upset poor kid. As long as there was another member of staff there too, what would it matter?

It's unfortunate that some children haven't got mothers or fathers but to take away the choice for others is very sad 
I remember in school that for the children who didn't have parents they would be given the choice to make a card for anyone who cared for them and whom they loved .
Its not fair for both sides really .

They also mentioned that at a nursery they have to sing, 'Baa Baa coloured sheep' because black would be racist ffs! Whoever saw coloured sheep?
When my son was at nursery he had to sing, 'Baa Baa White Sheep'.
Soberano, they mentioned the red pen thing too.
One headmistress banned skipping ropes in case children would use them to hang themselves. :rolleyes:

In the one my mom worked at, they were not allowed to observe Independence Day yet they observed Cinco de Mayo for all their Mexican housekeeping and other employees. All because of PC. But not ours. I thought that was way out of line.

Not a clue. My sons school you have to send them in with £1 to buy a present for your mum! I'd be upset if that stopped, I want a pressie, lol.

This just goes to prove what a pile of sh1te the UK has become...
I was reading earlier about schools taking fingerprints of the kids and keeping them on a database...WTF!
It was supposed to help with checking books outa the school library. Except one school didn't have a fingerprint scanner in the library. So then, why the need for fingerprints?
George Orwell was right, he just picked the wrong year...
To sum it all up in a nutshell....
Our kids are fingerprinted at school whether we like it or not.
We will have to provide biometric data (Fingerprints, iris scans, DNA, etc) for an I.D. card, that will cost us about £100.00. This is an anti terrorist measure.."huh"... (How does that work then?)
We are followed by CCTV for most of our day...
The BBC keep a database of who has a TV license and who doesn't.
All our vehicle particulars can be called up at the touch of a key, ie, Tax, MOT, Insurance....
We are not allowed to discuss anything that could be minutely construed as racist. Hell! We cannot even fly the St Georges flag, in case we offend some minority or other...
We are not allowed to be called "English, but the welsh, Irish, Scots, can all claim fame to their heritage...
Scottish MPs in the English parliament, ruling English affairs. But no English MPs in the Scottish assembly, helping them on the road to ruin...
And we elected this shower of crap!!!

Just wait till the BNP get in.... Because I am pretty sure that they will. Only slowly at first. But the labour party started out as the underdog too.

I take it you vote for the BNP? There were no candidates in my area this time so I voted National Front. My family though voted BNP. I know it makes no difference as they are no-where near getting in but one day I'd love them to, we may get England back.
