Yes indeed. I have some old tapes to transfer to DVD. This VCR is a second-hand JVC one.

It has a tape in it. My goodness me!

I have a friend who repaired VCRs. (I use the past tense, because they are so cheap now, nobody bothers getting them fixed).

He'd sometimes get them in the shop with a porn tape stuck in the mechanism.

You need a good VCR, and a DVD recorder (which is not expensive), or do

something with your 'puter, or (yikes!) pay someone to do it!
