Survival Skills

Ok this is kind of weird but I have read and heard a few stories lately about are you prepared for the next pandemic, or the next humankind crisis that leaves the earth in utter devistation and how will you survive?

One article I read said more and more people are signing up for "survival" skills. It suggested find shelter first then water etc.

Some folks are stocking up on food, water, fuel etc.

And it goes on like this....

This got me to thinking...and wondering

What would you do and are you prepared?

Myself personally I don't know if I want to be alive after such mass destruction, what could possibly be left out there for quality life. Why would I want to be around to see it, if a disease does not get me surely depression would get me.

If it is chemical warfare that destroys us, there will be nothing left to eat or drink, if it is germ warfare, same thing..... I think a quick end would be my path of choice.

What would you do or what are you doing?

Or

Do you think it's just mass hype to provoke sales of all things necessary ... just in case... kind of like the Y2K threat?

I think people tend to flip out about a lot of these things. I guess it's a natural reaction to want to live forever but I have no interest in being around and helping rebuild the world after it blows up or whatever. I'll be happily in another dimension. There's a song I know called "This World Is Not My Home" and that pretty much sums up how I feel. Not that I want to sound like a total downer, just being realistic.

It would depend on wether the T.V.'s still worked and if the NFL was still playing.

i'd only want to survive if soberano and wise guy where still online without them to annoy my life would have no meaning :wah: :wah:

well if i was really ill and bedridden and could not move but felt like dying ,annoying you might just make me feel little better
