I just had chicken pasta soup last night as I couldn't be bothered to cook just for me. Sausages tonight, not sure what with but they go out of date tomorrow so gotta eat them. :wah:

I have a gorgeous late lunch, didn't need dinner. Went to ASK with my sister, son and parents. Olives, stuffed mushrooms and pizza. It was gorgeous! I got there though and threw up as I hadn't eaten, not nice, lol. It's the hormones!
I'm fixing chicken fried steak with baked potato and cheese sauce for my dad and I will probably make some burritos for myself. We don't always eat the same food but we always eat together.

I am having a T Bone Steak (medium), mixed summer salad, bagette, a bottle of Pinot Noir.
I've got a nice boneless roast in my slow cooker with potatoes, onions and carrots; I'm bringing the whole lot over to my Dad so he has some nice meals for the week :-4
Then hubby and I are taking him out to dinner at a Chinese/Japanese restaurant in the town where my Dad lives. That way, they can eat Chinese while I get my sushi fix :p
Well, last night I did something kinda amazing, Cher. A medical professor I've known on the internet for 15 years but never met (not in FG or related forums).. had a friend who lives in Australia and she just happened to be coming to Canberra yesterday. (We all have skiing in common). Anyway I collected her from the airport and we had an awesome time. Grin. She gads about the globe even more than I do. .. but I digress. Er so I didnt' cook last night. But the previous night I fixed something you'd probably like, just found the recipe in the Saturday newspaper here. A kind of souffle made of fresh basil, cilantro and flat leaf parsley, ricotta cheese, eggs and nutmeg with a dash of parmesan. And served with garlic baked grape tomatoes and good bread. It was great..
Ahhhhh COFFEEE... it's just 7am here, and I gotta go rustle up the real thing.
