nearly 3 months dry

sunday morning is just not the same any more the waking up with my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth , then looking trying to focus on the floor checking for puke, fighting the banging in my head slowly putting an arm out feeling for sue, she is there a good sign , she dont pull away better sign , she shruggs me off not so good , she is in the kids room uh oh must of had too much jack dee had to be dragged home again , then try and remember leaving the pub .... nope nothing .... try remember getting home ... nope ... going to bed nope ... oh crap did i post on fg ... oh no i cant remember .. dragging my self downstairs to see what damage i have done phew ..i was too drunk to use the puter... oh how i miss those sunday mornings :rolleyes: apart from me pinky and MF , well i hope she drinks :wah: has any one else had a drunken disaster on fg :wah: :wah:

Good good for you... my good man. I come from a long line of drunks. Relatives, ex husbands, boyfriends.. friends. I wont tell you drunk stories or how it ruins your life... you already know that. Im a total ass when I drink. I was a real wine conniseur for a couple of years. It makes my bouts with depression worse... gives me heart palpatations... and also screws up my tongue. So I dont drink that often. Another side effect that has appeared recently is that if I do have a little, I immediately become coquetish and I act like Im 17. Its like there is a 17 year old living and hiding inside me. Its really revolting. And like you, I have trouble piecing together events from the night before. Alcohol is a very sad thing. So, Im on the wagon too.
