the way, I've come across some things that really make me wonder about
the road department.
For instance, along this one 2-lane road, through "country" setting... there
are an awful lot of eucalyptus trees lining the road. One longish section
has a sign, in the MIDDLE, "Falling Trees". Okaaaaay, every time I drive
by I wanna say so what or something. I think it might just be a CYA thing
but what the heck good does it do to tell you at that point? Not a mile
BEFORE you get there, so you could turn around if you didn't want to
chance it? "Falling trees AHEAD". I know the eucalyptus are more shallow
rooted than most but still.
Sure hope the tree gods don't read this post and send one crashing down
in front of me to show me who's boss!!
